About the Trust
The Doña Nora Charitable Trust began operations on 11 September 2007. The purpose of the trust was to make charitable contributions and advance charitable work with a special interest in supporting the work being done by church-affiliated ministries serving poor populations outside the USA.
HistoryDuring its first 27 months of operation (through the end of 2009), the Doña Nora Charitable Trust made contributions totaling nearly US$ 75,000 in support of church related programs in the USA, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua including:
- Community health development programs - HIV/AIDS treatment programs - HIV/AIDS support groups - Schools - Medical clinics - Vacation Bible Schools - Church camp and religious education center |
